Frank Bonanno is the culinary mind behind ten of Denver’s finest dining and drinking establishments. He is the author of the Mizuna cookbook, the Luca icookbook and the host of Chef Driven on PBS.
Since 2002, Frank Bonanno has been the mastermind behind nearly a dozen Colorado restaurants. Chef Driven offers a rare glimpse of the world from the eyes of a restaurant professional; Frank’s travelogue of experiences with growers, producers, artisans, and chefs who are shaping food culture in the Mountain West.
At Bonanno Concepts, we strive to throw love as best we know—through food and drink and more. We aim to be a chef-driven restaurant family dedicated to satisfying meals, outstanding service, education, and community.
On any given night, Frank Bonanno is cooking at one of his restaurants’ ten venues, opened in as many years, ten different styles of cuisine, all with a focus on beautiful, unadulterated fare, all culling from the inspiration of his Denver home. Cookbook writer, entrepreneur, chef–Frank Bonanno is, in short, driven.
Chef Driven takes you across the mountain landscape with Frank as he visits the farmers, ranchers, brewers, and bakers who share his connection to the Colorado soil and his spirit of artisanship. We offer you the West as we see it daily, with some great cooking along the way.
